Ladies Christmas Service
A great Combined Church Ladies Christmas Service 'Carols and Readings' was held today (Tuesday, 4th Dec). There wer no skits this year but plenty of singing.
A beautiful afternoon tea was enjoyed by all who attended.
Thanks are extended to all who helped, especially Jo, who put the service together, Ivan for his Musical prowess, and Daph for leading....
Micah Challenge - "Offerings of Letters"
Last year our congregation hosted a "Survive Past Five Birthday party" in May and in June, Gail Tabor, Tas and Jo Riley Fitzer went to Voices for Justice in Canberra.
This year Micah Challenge is asking churches/groups to write letters to the Hon. Wayne Swan, Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer to encourage the Government to attain the Millennium Development Goals by 2015. Sample letters are available in office....
