We care deeply about our valley and surrounding areas, and actively look for ways to serve our community. There is always happening in the faith community of our Diocese, in other Christian Churches across in the Bega Valley as well as Community Connections that are really important in the life and mission of our Parish. Ricky’s Place


Ricky’s Place is a community kitchen run in conjunction with our Parish and Sapphire Community Projects - a charity based in Bega, dedicated to supporting people experiencing poverty, food insecurity, and social isolation. Through affordable food access, shared meals, education, cooking programs, and community support initiatives, we aim to nourish and strengthen our community.

Come and Join for Lunch every Monday 12-2pm at St John's Anglican Church.  All are welcome!

Hillgrove House Aged Care Facility


Hillgrove House is a spacious residential aged care home in Bega, providing quality care for up to 95 residents. Since 1979, it has offered a welcoming community, beautiful mountain views and a range of shared social spaces and gardens. Hillgrove House is fully compliant with Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

St John's Anglican Church hold a monthly Holy Communion Service at Hillgrove House on the 1st Thursday of each month at 2pm.

Sapphire Coast Anglican College

SCAC is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 Independent Anglican College situated on 60 beautiful acres in the Bega Valley.

The school was originally established in 1994 as Bega Valley Christian College and from 2007 became Sapphire Coast Anglican College under the umbrella of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn.

In conjunction with St John's Anglican Church, SCAC also run a Little Lights Children’s Program for children under 5.

When: every Tuesday from 9:15am to 10:40am during School Term

Where: St John's Anglican Church Bega

All families with children under 5 are welcome!
